Paul: A few days ago there was a post about powder coating. I checked with a
local wheel supply company that chrome plates, etc., and he told me that
there were two processes.  One is baked at 200 degrees and another at a
higher temperature. There is a name for the high temp process, but that
escapes me.  Anyway, to the point. He can do parts up to 18 or 20 inches in
diameter and 12 or so inches thick.  Cost about $25 depending on amount of
prep work they would need to do.  The company in St. Louis, MO.

We have some shops here in LA that can do powder coating. Both high temp and
regular. Kind of common now a days.
