Subject: One piece seals.

Dear Sir,

Do you make one piece seals in 3.5 mm?

I don't care about low RPM HP.

This is going in a racing boat.
I am worried about detonation fracturing the seals.
If your seals are softer than Mazda's, how long do they last.
What is the Rockwell Hardness?
Are they made from chrome molly steel?

Would it be possible to drill a bunch of small holes from
the back side of your steel seals to reduce the weight and up the
RPM? How much money would this cost?

Good price on seals as Mazda gets about $800 for a set of stock
seals. Eamon has the stock 2 mm size if you don't want to machine
the rotors for the thicker seals.

What is it now about $1.3 U.S.  per UK pound?

I don't agree with him on the weight of the seal. It does indeed
change the chatter tendency and the centrifugal load on
the rotor housing surface.
