Hi Paul,

I talked with Bob Monetti this morning. I sent my plexiglass template
for
the intake manifold flange last week. He called and wanted to know what
I
wanted him to do with it. I told him what we were discussing on the chat
line and he got all pumped up. He's an airplane nut too. He asked me to
e-mail you so you could call him for the particulars. He is going to
look
into fabricating my mount also!!! That would be just peachy if he could
pull
that off. I'm a little intimidated to take that one on myself. Maybe you
could send him the design for the hat mount and he could fabricate
mounts
for others, all that would have to be done is to give him the dimensions
for
the firewall from your plans. Just an idea. I must have had the wrong
bit on
my laminate trimmer because that plexiglass sure does melt it took three
tries to get it cut. They told me at Home Depot that it was a plexiglass
cutter. I was still emarrased with what I sent off. You were right about
the
intake manifold and the ports, they are not the same size. The ports on
the
housings are larger than on the manifold, I can't figure out why Mazda
would
do this? This may sound weird but so far cutting out that template was
the
hardest part of my project so far. GET THE RIGHT BIT!!!!!

Thanks for reminding me Ken. I called and I will take what I have over
to see Robert tomorrow morning.

Ken,

What is your phone number and/or email? I have a BD-4 that I would like to
put a rotary into and would like to chat with you and perhaps work together
if you are in S. California.

I saw your template over there this morning Ken.
Here is a picture of Robert's machine cutting 1/4 steel plate. Robert is
helping a friend build an RV4 and is real interested in the rotary.
