One of the most powerful features of Linux is you have
four times the screen area to work with because of the virtual
screens. One click puts you in any of four virtual screens.
You can have a dozen windows open at the same time and cut and paste
between all of them. You can also do GUI and command line at the
same time. Some things are done better with a command line and some
things are done better with a GUI. Real neat.

Do not even think I like MS-Windows .... I'm LInUX as well as
Alpha-Linux and Unix and Windows xx. For me this is only tools.
