Since nobody has responded to this yet I will take a stab at it.
There are several knock sensors available for the turbo engines.
The best IMHO are mounted just over the upper spark plugs on the
late rotor housings. Get a copy of Turbo magazine. Devices are sold that
will instantly reduce the spark advance upon detection of
knock. The other thing that can be done is buy Hurley Engineering
3 mm or 3.5 mm wide steel apex seals that are more resistant to
knock than the stock 2 mm cast iron seals. The rotors will have
to be machined to accept these seals. See the web site for the URL.

Several people have used NOX to increase power in rotary aircraft engines
with quite good results.
I don't see why the oil injection ports could not be used for
water/methanol injection.
