For all of those who are interested, there is a water injection unit made in
England which I have just purchased. It uses a magnetic pump to pressurize
the water and can be triggered by a detonation detection system. It will
produce a very finely atomized spray of water. Water can be injected into the
intake manifold before the turbo inlet to really get good atomization. Water
is the very BEST antidetonant. Its latent heat of vaporisation is 6 times
that of gas and when it turns to steam in your engine , cools downt the
mixturebetter than anything I know. Change your oil frequently, intercool,
and use an A/F of around 12.5 to 1 and you shouldn't have any trouble with
detonation. I know I just encouraged all sorts of nasty responses to this
post.... but come on JIM DANA
