I hope nobody is getting the impression that this is a big problem.
I am just experimenting here with a quick and dirty method of lowering
the height of the stock pump to fit certain limited space cowls
such as the Lancair and Kis. The stock pump will work fine in most
applications. I just thought while I was at cutting down the height 
I would improve the flow rate for high continuous HP turbo application.
