Lancair IV P. I think the kit is around $70,000 as I recall. The engine
is another $50,000 then it takes 7000 man hours to put it together.

I've been doing the periodic inspections on a Lancair IVP for a few
years now. A large, expensive and complex aircraft. I believe the kit was
more like $90K, IIRC. I think the motor is less, but with prop and
all the pressurizaiton stuff it may approach $50K. Not for those who
worry about money, the owner of this one does not.
