TMR is in Orange, Ca. 714-771-1348 and ask for Mike. BTW, I mentioned
that I was using Mazda power and he apparently has had some experience with
an RX7 race car. Worst race car he's ever owned, terrible reliability
problems. I didnt go into detail with him but will quiz him on this the
next time I talk to him.

If he is that far off on the race cars he may be off on the coolers too:-)
Mazda rotaries have won more than their share of endurance races including
LeMans
outright.

I quizzed Mike at TMR some more about his experience with Mazda. They
raced an RX7 in IMSA GTU for one season after having raced Porsches for a
number of years. The RX-7 would constantly overheat and they could never
get a handle on the problem. Apparently the engine was built as one of a
group of 4 identical engines. I asked who the engine builder was and all he
would say was it was someone in the northwest - he wouldnt name anyone. The
cars these engines went into were all built by the same guy also. It was
only one of these 4 identically built and prepped cars that had any
problems, the other 3 ran great. They never did resolve the problem and
after a string of DNFs switched back to Porsche.

Did he check the the bypass passage in the water pump? :-)
Maybe I will call him and talk to him.
