Bill I would not have suggested this but the factor
of safety is quite large. At 30 psi the separating load on a 1.25 ID pipe 
joint is about 37 pounds. With a bond strength of 3000 psi and 
2.3 square inches to work with we have about a 7000 max load
or a factor of safety of 189 times.

Furthermore there is no bending load as the wiggins coupling 
and pipe are telescopic. Thermal expansion for pipe and wiggins
should be nearly the same. I think it will work great.

Gluing one kind of plastic to another kind of plastic is a whole 
nother matter.
