Bill I would not have suggested this but the factor
of safety is quite large. At 30 psi the separating load on a 1.25 ID pipe
joint is about 37 pounds. With a bond strength of 3000 psi and
2.3 square inches to work with we have about a 7000 max load
or a factor of safety of 189 times.

temp rating for resins I have seen specs on is 350°.

Even if it drops from 3000 psi to 100 psi it is still way more than
we need with a 1/2 inch overlap on a 1.5 inch OD pipe.
