Besides ratio, the difference is that the front planet is only used for
forward gears (no reverse).  The front planets are used by some, just not me
right now.  Someday I'll get around to doing other ratios.  A lot of the
time and sex appeal of being CEO,  principal engineer and designer of your
own company is erased by also being the janitor and shipping clerk :-)
