OK Dave Leonard, here is your chance. Jeff is in Ventura county.
 These 91's are the best of the Turbo II's. Adding an aux waste
 gate would not be that hard.


Sounds like a good deal. I will go pick one up this weekend if possible (I
sent Jeff an e-mail).  Maybe a waste gate would be no problem for you...  but
us Doctor types ain't so good with nuts and stuff..

I have been entertaining the idea of a manual waste gate.  After reaching
WOT, a second cable could be advanced to manually increase the MAP.  It could
then be manually closed as desired (TIT climbs too high, looking for better
fuel consumption, overspeeding with altitude).  Anyone think this could work?

Here is the stock waste gate. I think it can be enlarged and ported
for more flow. It could easily be manually controlled.
