Hi Paul:
"YES" to...Seal Kit/Engine mt. bits and pieces.
HOW ABOUT:
-CHT Thermocouple Kit
-INT man. " "
-H20 pump convers. "
-Tang. muffler "
-An affordable N.A. engine monitor unit
-C.S. Prop hub
- " " blades (To suit)
Are you sorry you asked ??
Go for it there's nothing wrong with making a couple of $
for providing us with customized services. (Not to say
that we will also save some....A win win combination.)
Thank You
Butch Diaz Sr.
The N.A. engine monitor unit will take a lot of engineering time so don't
wait for that. The constant speed hub will be sold as a kit of parts
less the blade hopefully by the guy with an NC shop that makes the parts.
Hopefully John Moran as he does real nice work. Same goes for the muffler
but we might sell flanges.
If anybody wants to modify their pump send
it to me and I will cut it off and mill out the partition for free
for a limited time only. That does not take me long and I have the mill
set up to do that. Hand porting and fitting a new partition will be required.
I don't think I will actually make any money. It is just a paper work thing
with the social security and IRS problem. Any real profits will go into
the Everitt Hatch Memorial Race fund.
Unfortunately it does not look like we will get an entry for the NC to
OSH race this year. That leaves Apple Valley to Copper State as the last
race this year open to a rotary powered entry and a possibility of winning
the $400 prize money. Perhaps Dave Atkins will be lucky this year and not
have his rudder pedals break at the last moment. I think he will need
a new prop to go over 200 MPH.
