Baker Precision Bearing anti wear mystery impregnation.

Stopped in and had a chat with Paul Baker about an impregnation 
process he is pushing. Dave Lemon of Mazdatrix said he made some corner 
seals out of 4130 as the stock Mazda ones were breaking running his
racing 3 rotor on nitro or nitrous oxide I am not sure which.
The 4130 was incompatible with the side housing and was scoring
them. After he had them impregnated with this miracle mystery stuff
the scoring stopped. Might have some application for Hurley Engineering
steel apex seals that might be more resistant to detonation than the stock
cast iron seals and be more compatible with the chromed rotor housings. 

All this advanced seal R&D aside I also talked to Paul about oil coolers.
He said if you want the best get Setrabe. There is a lot of cheap
junk out there as Chuck unfortunately already found out about.
He had some of it there and it looked pretty bad.

There is a company in Canada ironically called Long Tru Cool or 
something like that that looks pretty good. The really interesting thing
that I found out about a Long cooler is when you mount the cooler 
perpendicular to the air stream the air passage go through at a 
45 degree angle!

Wow! Just like our angle mounted radiators. Maybe there is
something to this oblique cooling block stuff that Kuchemann
& Weber came up with after all.
