Has any one ever put 600 lb in a cozy IV or an aerocanard, I always go back
to the same, too much weigh. Is not a matter of if I will put 2 engine in my
airplane, is what engine will I use. I love rotary engine, but 600lb in the
fire wall means problems. If you guys have any idea in other engine, I'm
open for suggestions.
For lots of money you can get aluminum back end housings from Racing Beat
and save about 25 pounds per engine.
Starters weigh 7 pounds so there is six pounds right there.
Your intake weights are too high. I would say 5 pounds is more like it.
Oil is lighter than coolant so save three pounds.
No way 20 pounds for a constant speed prop. More like 40 or 50.
Way too much for motor mounts. 15 pounds apiece.
