directly by the header pipe stream is not perforated, the reverse side is. Also note the
double wall where the header stream hits. I started out with an 5" diameter stainless
pipe, but didn't have room, so I cut it lengthwise and squeezed it into an oval.
As far as cracking is concerned, how about cutting through one of the header pipes and
sticking it into stainless flex tubing (won't leave much space for EGT probe though)?
