Do you have any idea how much work goes into a real, manufacturable design?

  Here's a picture that illustrates the problem. Unlike Paul's planned
installation I want to route inlet air into the top of the radiator and
exit out the bottom. With the starter relocated I could pull the front of
the radiator up a couple of inches and still have a sufficient space
between the radiator top and the oil pan rail for airflow.

  For Paul's approach (airflow into the bottom) you can easily see how much
space could be gained. By relocating the starter the front of the radiator
could be pulled right on up to the oil pan rail.

  If you dont have the time/resources to do this (and I can certainly
understand that) I will do it myself.
