I am thinking about that SS hose. I was going to try to tig weld
to it and see what I can come up with.

If I can tig weld on a short piece of 1-3/8 OD SS pipe I may be able
to bond that to the aluminum wiggins coupling with JB Weld or epoxy.
the other alternative is make the wiggins out of SS.
