Yep. It is almost free from a technological trade off point of view.
I have plenty of room on that side of the cowl. BTW Chuck Dunlap left  his
cowl air intake open on the right side of his RV6. If you stood back aways 
and looked into the opening you could not see the rotary. It was totally 
hidden behind the spinner. It appeared the airplane flew with no motor :-) 
There seemed to be room in there for another 13B.
