Yes-very common on 3rd gen cars. A major problem at overhaul time. Most are
reported to be unrepairable by welding. Supposedly in the very latest models
(95+to present 01 in Japan) the attachment method was changed to longer studs
and bolts and other minor changes were made.
It does not appear my tt manifold on the 20 b has any cracks however!
(Visually, no die penetrant yet).
