Here is a picture I took of Ed's fine new oil sump made by Ed Heishman.
Note the metal oil pick up line on the left.

Ed,

Thats a fine piece of workmanship. What is the capacity of the
sump/tank
on this new oil pan?

I assume you have a cad drawing that you supplied the welder? Is there
any chance you'd be willing to share that drawing with the rest of us? I
use Acad R13 or a .dxf would be fine also if you are willing.

Thanks,

Mike Wills

Mike,
The tank (a 4"x4" rectangular tube) holes 3 quarts, with the oil filter,
oil cooler, lines and rotors holding another 1 1/2 quarts bring total system
oil supply to 4 1/2 quarts. I do have a CAD drawing, but it is not as
complete as you might like as I used it as a guide and cut out all the parts
myself, so the welder only had to glue them together, but did a fine job of
doing that.

I'll send you a copy of the CAD drawing off line.

Ed
