Yes, it is. It is a very elegant design. We really maintained
it though -
because it lived in clutch dust - as any leakage meant we had to pull the motor
and seperate the gearbox adapter to service it. The old Girling
cylinder, being
external, didn't have this problem. Of course, the Girling made the
car much wider.
We never had a problem with the annular cylinder - we changed
wipers/seals twice
a season - in the shop only.
