The holes should be bent so that the aft side is in and the

outside,

        Cannot draw on the computer. Place the tube left to right,
with the exaust exit to the left. Drill holes as desired, equal or
greater that the area of the exaust outlet. Place a rod the same size
as the holes verticly and press it down to the right,exaust outlet
side, and you get the desired result. The aft portion of the hole
is bent inward and the forward side is bent outward.
        You are right about a picture,Virg
P.S. Close the end of the tube at the outlet end!
