This is a picture of John Morans six pinion planet carrier currently
being tested in Tracy's redrive. It would be possible to modify
this planet carrier and incorporate Jerry Bass's idea for a thrust bearing and
provide an out put flange and spline all in two pieces for a 2.85:1 PSRU. 

This would reduce the total number of separate pieces in the psru. 
The best of all worlds.
