The seller did not describe the actual condition - intentionally or not.

The chrome has flaked ~1mm wide from the bottom of the housing to the

is very apparent on one side of the housing and is just beginning on the

There are hairline cracks on either side of the plugs, parallel to the
e-shaft. The cracks are about 3/32" at the leading plugs and

at the trailing.

There is a sort of bump on the outside edge of the housing at

the leading

plug, same side as the chrome flaking. Where the rest of the

housing surface

is smooth, this seems to be a rather abrupt transition.

My instinct is to reject the housings and try to get my money

back. Do you

think I'm being overly cautious?
