Depending on the type of intake porting yes. It starts to drop off anywhere
from
5000 RPM to about 8500 RPM. The HP peak can be as high as 9000 RPM.
Peripheral ports, such as used by Power Sport, which are straight shots
into the rotor housings, are preferred for anything over 6000 RPM

i realize that this engine is unique, but is there no hp, torque and
specific fuel rate curve ?

paul--thanx much for the reply to my questions and the really cool pic of the
4 rotor-really appreciate it. we are developing a belt drive for the 13b and
trying to decide on the optimum gear ratio from a rpm-hp-sfc curve if
availiable--anybody out there have one or constructive ideas ? ive noted the
some of the discussions on rpm here and cant come to a positive answer
yet--thanx again       tom k

Several people have belt drives. Ken Welter in the Coot comes to mind
for one.
