1989 and later rotors are lighter so the RPM can go up to 7000 to
7500 RPM. Use a larger dia. prop if you have landing gear clearance.
You could also mill your rotors to lighten them if you have access
to an NC mill. A re balance of the rotor will be required.

Another trick would be to replace the oil pressure regulators with high
pressure units, such as the 1993-5 Mazda RX-7 oil pressure regulator, and
use rotor bearings that are oversized. These are available from Mazda
Competition Parts.
