The reason I asked is that is what I did on my engine. I used a #47
drill to
make the jets.
My oil pressure is now lower than without the mod, about 45PSI at any
RPM
above 2000, while before the mod it ran closer to 60PSI. At idle, when
the
oil is hot, it runs much lower, about 15 PSI. I was wondering if that is
normal for this mod. I did check the oil pump and first pressure
regulator
by blocking off the oil inlet to the rear housing and while cranking got
~90PSI, which is normal. Maybe the second regulator is bypassing too
much,
but I suspect that the jet mod lowered my oil pressure. Has anyone else
tried this mod with different results?

Interesting. It should only affect it at low RPM. At high RPM centrifugal
load on the spring loaded ball valve in the e-shaft rotor cooling squirter
causes it to open. It looks like, from the curves in the book, the
ball valve is fully open at 3000 RPM.

What is the diameter of a #47 drill Chuck?
2 mm is .0787 inch. Perhaps a #47 is too large.

exact size I have as I got the jets from Bruce Turrentine, but assume they
are 2mm.
