I was under the impression that the oil pump drive turned at 1/2
the
e-shaft
rate. When you say that the pump was run with an electric motor
at
6000
RPM
crank speed, are you turning the pump drive at 3000 rpm? I will
be
using
your pump drive and external reservoir on my engine ( which I
just
received
from Bruce Turrentine)

I think the confusion here revolves around why you chose to spin the
metering
pump at 6000 RPMs during your test when it will only rotate at 3000 RPM
during a 6000 RPM engine run. Wouldn't it have been more realistic to
have
choosen 3000 RPM for the metering pump speed during this test?? I (we)
may
not really understand exactly how you conducted the test !!! Can you
clarify
this for us?? I will also be using the metering pump adapter to deliver
2
cycle oil to my 20B. I'll be ordering the metering pump adapter any
day.

it depends on is how much oil the pump delivers at a certain engine speed.
