Here is a quick pic I took with my wife's digital camera, with some
text thrown in for explanation.  Preluber works great.  I installed an
automotive 30 AMP relay with a momentary-contact pushbutton in
the driver's compartment.  I turn the ignition to the "on" position to
power up my oil pressure gauge, hold the pushbutton until I see the
GP-301 pumping (approx 40-50 PSI I'm guessing), wait another
few seconds for the oil to get everywhere it's supposed to, let go of
the pushbutton and start the truck.  The oil pressure actually stays up
for several seconds after I let go of the button, so it's still at ~

40 PSI

when I start the engine.  Works great!  Thanks for all your help.

pressure reached a preset value. You had to turn the key, hold the switch
in and freeze until something happened. And we ran the trucks on Naptha (no
refinery up on the arctic coast, just lots of ng and wet oil). It was fun
just the same.
The system had a name, but I do not recall it. Something akin to "Herman
Nelson's".....or was that the heaters?--
