I am wiring a homebuilt now and I am having challenge in coming up with
a
safe way of wiring the engine. The engine requires four very
uninterruptible 12V wires. They are as follows: 1. EC2 computer, 2.
Igniters, 3. Injectors, 4. 2 Fuel pumps.

I am planning on running both fuel pumps at all times, so I am using two
CBs
and two switches to control them. The power is coming off a battery
bus.

The EC2 computer, igniters and injectors will be run off the battery
buss
with no fuses and one dedicated key type switch (spdt). The idea is
that if
the master switch is turned off, the engine will continue to run.

Is this the best safe way to wire the engine? Any ideas?

My advice is to use circuit breakers. If you get a short circuit without
a circuit breaker your engine stops and you have a fire to deal with. With a
breaker you can concentrate on landing your ship without dealing with a fire
as well!
