For what its worth, i recently received the quickbuild gullwing door
for my Lancair ES and it is totally carbon. Unlike the Lancair IV,
the ES is mostly S-glass. It was delivered with the plexi-glass
window installed. I figure there must be a pretty good reason for
Lancair to make the door and frame out of carbon. It also uses an
inflatable door seal. Anybody know of a cost-effective lighweight
pump for this sort of application?

Hi all:
I've installed a inflatable door seal on a Warrior (?) and it
used a 12VDC auto tire compressor pump (big, heavy). I know some
people have used blood pressure cuff bulbs to inflate their seals...
