 Yes, lots of folks are swallowing hard about the luck they had.
Unfortunately, when   I checked with my old firm (which provides services to
a number of Federal Agencies) and found that we lost 3 individuals.  One of
which I had worked with on a number of projects, a good guy.  Only luck
prevented more, it turns out the firm was holding an "All Hands" meeting
which most were attending (away from the Pentagon).  I suspect few are not
affected in some way.

   Good to be back on the air.  Waiting for them to lift VFR restrictions,
been two beautiful days to fly with temps in the low 60s - my static rpm
goes up almost 100 rpm for ever 10 deg F drop in temps.
