UAL Bigfoot (777) 2816 diverted due to a war act into Yellowknife
NW Territories. 'Twas quite a sight for the locals who came out
to watch the landing.

I do not think an aircraft that size has ever been in there. Unfortunately 
the aircraft got parked nose in with obstructions in front. No tug
& no tow bar, You can guess the rest. Fortunately the RCAF came to
the rescue & took a Twin Otter down to Edmonton. Picked up a 767 tow bar & 
brought it back courtesy of Canada. We have not got a bill. Additionally 
RCAF lent us a tug to get out. Nice to know we can get by with a little  
help from our friends.
