Thought this might be the quickest way to get the word out to many of the
EC2 users out there.

There is an ERROR on the EC2 wiring list.  I will be sending all owners the
corrected sheets but here's a heads up so you can correct it now.  The pins
#10 and #24 are reversed on the EC2 connector.  If it is easier, you can
reverse pins 4 and 10 at the programming panel instead.  This error has the
effect of disabling program modes 4 thru 8.

 Found the error while tracking down an anomoly on Charlie Airesmans' EC2.
I fly the latest version of the EC2 BUT I'm still using my old EC1 control
panel which is different.  D'oh!  What really confused me is that I do bench
test every EC2 with the same  panel that it is shipped with.  I had wired
the test rig up before making the wirelist page of the installation guide
which is where the error got in.
