If all goes according to plan and I don't have to beat a hijacker
to death with the medical oxygen bottle I will be at the airport
on UAL flight 799 from Denver at 1:35 Friday afternoon. Can somebody
pick me up or should I rent a car which is no problem for me?

Actually it would be better if I rented a car as they need the
business.

Paul, Unless I hear otherwise, I will pick you up at the lower lever,
outside the baggage recovery carosels. They will not let me come to the
gate without a ticket. I will drive thru the pick up lane at 1:45 PM
Friday in black Ford F150 extracab.  Will you have Robin with you?

As far as I know, no one has dropped out that was planning to come -
Tracy is contingent on VFR available to come RV4. Most of the guys are
driving anyway. Still plan Friday evening get-together with food at Bill
Eck's home, space available to accomodate a dozen or so in our homes
Friday night.

Saturday at my home all day rotary / composite / painting / etc
fellowship with Corky's Bar B Que lunch. Saturday overnight stay OK also.

Call if you get lost - directions are simple. Germantown is east of
Memphis outside the loop I240. Exit from I240 eastbound on Poplar Ave and
go east about 10 miles, thru Germantown, to Johnson Road (large
Germantown Baptist Chruch on corner is landmark) and turn left on Johnson
Road - go north on Johnson about 3 miles to 1st light which is Wolf River
- turn right and my home is the first on right (south side) facing Wolf
River.  Across the road is Houston Middle School. If we run out of car
parking area, there is a nice lot for the school directly across the
street - not in use on Sat.

Paul, With limited VFR available to any coming to the Rotormotor Get-together
by air, we need to change the recommended airport to: Fayette County Airport
(FYE) @ Somerville, TN. This is a paved north/south runway about 3600' and is
just outside the class B Memphis airspace, but so close you should do pattern
work east of the runway and talk with Fayette Co Unicom on 122.9. This is about
20 miles (25 minutes or so) from my home and we can meet you or be there within
30 min of a phone call.

Yes, I have heard about the VFR restrictions around major airports.
Also make sure your transponder is working as it will be checked
after you take off from a controlled airport and you will be told
to land if it is not working.

It looks like you better pick us up at the airport at 1:35 Fri UAL from
Denver.
