Perry Mick had trouble with his original Long EZ motor mount
design until he added the is lower diagonal brace on each
side shown in this picture. Note that it does not go to an 
existing motor mount hard point on the firewall. Did you beef 
up the firewall behind this point Perry?

Why are you people resisting this? :-) How can I make myself better
understood? :-) What is it that you don't understand about this? :-)

Get yourself a 10 foot long 2" by 6" plank and two cement blocks.
Place one block on the end of the plank and the other 5 feet
along its length. Put bathroom scales under the cement blocks.
Then have someone stand 2-1/2 feet along its length between the blocks 
and you stand on the other end. See what happens? What readings do you 
get on the scales? Would it be better to move the block closer to where
you are standing?
