I glad he's going to get it in the air again. I remember when he first

I'm excited too Dave, and will help him all I can.  First flight was back in
the 70's and the design speed of the plane was around 450 MPH.  Back then,
qualification speed for unlimiteds was 410 and Dave had a chance to cruise
to victory without having to go over cruise power setting!  If only he had
been able to solve cooling problems (sigh.......) Unfortunately, today's big
buck racers have pumped up the Merlins to the very edge of destruction and
unlimiteds are going 480 (for a few minutes)   :-)

We are going to make one more try to get the Motec EFI controllers working
($15,000.00 invested!) but if no joy, will install
some EC2s.
