If you take the #1 from 16-18 you would be about right but anyway your hp.
and rpm are right. If you want the higher numbers you'll have to run 8,500 to
9,500. My header is 28" collector length. Where are the front mounts of the
engine? What rear cast iron housing ? regards Skip

Getting my engine on your dyno doesn't seem possible due to geographical limitations.  FWIW, I'm using a '82 12a front cover, custom oil pan, and a '86 rear end housing.  I'll be posting pictures of my RV-4 cantilever motor mounts soon.  You will find it interesting that there are 4 guys on the list building RV-4's (including Tracy Crook's RV-4  that has been flying for years!) and we are all designing different motor mounts.  My design leaves the cowl area under and beside the engine free of motor mount tubes, allowing more room for radiators.  You will appreciate this more when you start trying to fit the radiator and the oil cooler in the narrow RV-3/4 cowling.
