Not on the adapter plate itself, but to keep up with the "compatible cadd
programs" thread, the dwg file you sent along with the gif loaded very well
into Visual Cadd.

The only two things on my printout of that dwg file, that differ from the
gif, are the dimensions and locations of the holes showing up above the
drawing...apparently on a hidden layer?  I assume at one time they appeared
next to their corresponding holes instead of in the list.

And, second, the .25" dimension of the separator between the lightening
"holes" (and it's corresponding arrows) appear directly over that separator
instead of off to the right as in the gif drawing.

Other than that, FWIW, I can use the dwg file.

I forgot about that. When you make a gif plot in ACAD R12 it only plots
the display so I zoom in on what I want to plot. When you send a drawing file
everything goes. 

That is interesting. I'll bet my old DOS ACAD R12 dwg files can be read
by a lot of CAD programs. Everybody but TurboCAD does not seem to be backward
compatible. I could be wrong because we have a lot more data on TurboCAD
than we do on anything else except ACAD and we know ACAD is not backward
compatible. I think sticking to one layer and one color might help greatly.
