Hi Guys;..........Paul since you love Parts pictures,
these should warm the cackles of your heart ;-)

These photos were taken yesterday right before going in
for inspection (QC).

Not one bit worried about the Blade Shanks being strong
enough, It's the composite marriage that worries me :-(

Picture #3 shows the Shell assy. (Housing), rough
machined and being pressed assembled. From here it goes
to the Welder, then for weld void & crack Inspection,
next Heat Treating, AGAIN for weld crack inspection and
FINALLY back to machinist for weight loss :-)

Everything looks pretty good........No surprises.
I Should be assembling it pretty soon.

Looks great Butch. Very simple and bullet proof. Not to worry about
the composite joint. Perry Mick is real good at making carbon blades
as his prop must live at up to 6000 RPM. Never the less we will test the
heck out of it down at Tracy's on the nodding test stand.

I think Butch is referring to the carbon-steel problem that
Airbus has.

Those parts look great Butch, looks like this thing is
for real.
