Then again, even with a conservative average of 35 MPH over it's life, that
works out to a 4500+ hour TBO... Somehow I don't think you guys are aiming
for that high :)
Could be. With hardened rotor apex seal slots and ceramic apex
seals we could be looking at 4500+ hours TBO.
It is a good thing Tracy is only in his fifties as I don't think I will
live long enough to wear one out. What we need are some rotary engines in
commercial aircraft service.
