I have two sample sets of teflon encapsulated silicone O-rings on order.

I'll be the pig, my engine is stripped down, cleaned and in pieces ready to
reassemble with the exception of getting the housings lapped and nitrated.
Looks like I will have to send the housings to South Carolina if I want them
nitrided. I'd like to get it done on the west coast if possible. Lapco gave
me 30 days. If this is too long to wait maybe someone else can do it.

OK Ken you are number one. You are relatively close so we can work
together on this. They quoted me two weeks on shipping the O-rings.
Too bad you did not pick up a valley phone book. I am sure there
are some heat treaters in the SF valley or perhaps in east LA. I
will ask some friends in the manufacturing business who they use
and see if they can nitride your end housing here on the west cost.
