Sure. Same thing for an air cooled aircraft engine full rich.
The BSFC can be as high as .65. 0.65 times 200 HP is 130 pounds
of fuel per hour or at 6 pounds per gallon that is 22 gallons
per hour. Assume for the moment the BSFC for Ed's engine is .6
and he is generating 150 HP for take off. Fuel flow would then
be 90 pounds per hour or 15 GPH. Course we don't cruise full rich.
The BSFC can then drop to .47 and the HP to 130 or so.
Now we have 61.1 pounds per hour or about 10 gallons per hour.
