A few days back I met Rodney D. Jones in Las Vegas. He makes solar powered
pumps, and does all of the castings for same. He also does custom castings in
bronze or aluminum. He said that if he was provided a model of what you want
in the outside dimensions he could build the core molds to drawings as vague
as both end shapes (engine ports and inlet flange). Working from all drawings
would be much more expensive.
