Windows Explorer is a
lame and excruciatingly slow, tedious to use, rip off copy of XTree.

I really don't see how I could do this newsletter without XTree
or YTree which is not quite as good. It would take me ten times
longer in Windows. If I had to use Windows I flat would not do it.

The entire reason I started using Pagis Pro to look for stuff in Windows -
it will let me do content searches on anything with text (included scanned
files) and has a very stall file size for it's native format. For images
I've been using Micrografx Picture Publisher since edition 1 back in 1990
and with the latest 2 or 3 versions you can search images based on
similarity to an example. Not sure how well it works; my mil aircraft pics
for example it can't tell the difference between fighters, but my auto stuff
it can usually find exactly what I'm looking for.
