Get a power supply that runs off 12 volts and an old 3.5 inch floppy

drive.

Anyone know where I can find a 12VDC to ATX power supply? The old MBs are
pretty easy with only +-12VDC and +-5VDC but the ATX ones are more
complicated. And with 5 or 6 socket seven 300MHz -ish machines lying

around,

that is what I'd rather use.

Seen some plans on the web for conversions but most seemed very non-robust.

I just had a thought, what about an old second hand notebook computer.  I
don't know what type of A/D interface you would use (pcmcia?).  Since most of
these have a DC 12v portable power supply that would aid in instillation.
Also the notebook could be easily removeable for ground review and software
upgrade.  Plus, you might use it for other flight software on the ground
(logs, W/B, etc.)
