So here is where they got some of that 30% of the weight out of
the engine. Plastic intake manifold!

Neat idea using fly by wire throttles. One throttle and intake system
can be closed at low power and the other wide open for good low RPM
breathing and BSFC. Will work better under computer control than the old
four barrel that was affected mechanically by throttle position only.
