Here are some up close pictures of the 6-to-4 ports and a nickel for size
comparison. (Sorry about the bad focus it was a rush photo session). All
meat was removed between the ports all the way to the rotor. I think I'm
going to try and fill in that pocket where the secondary port valve set so
it's a smooth path to the rotor. Could probably make a plug out of steel
and JB Weld it into place. Sure wouldn't want that coming loose.

These seem to open at the same time as the center ports but close a LOT
later. NOW we have a tuning exercise. I'm bringing the outside and center
ports together with a Y pipe so I have effectively one long runner per
rotor. What do you suppose the difference would be between the outside
port runner length (one arm of the Y) and the inside? Hmmm. I expect to
make the short runners the same area as the ports and the combination the
total area of the two and the throttle body area equal to that. I haven't
set down and measured the shot of the nickel yet to get an area calc.

One way or the other it's going to be fun to see what this motor does.

You need a little JB Weld in there Mike to streamline that
dead end.
